Self-coping method in patient with gambling disorder comorbid with specific phobia: case report

Abstract
Gambling disorder is often associated with other mental disorders, what requires a different approach in the diagnostics and treatment of these disorders. This case report presents a patient with gambling disorder and comorbid specific phobia. The key feature of this case is the use of Self-Coping method integrative psychotherapy. This case highlights the desire for integrative therapy approach for combined behavioral disorders as a more flexible and personalized approach. Also, this case report provides a demonstration of one of the stages of Self-Coping method with an analysis of the intervention process at the most critical moments of problem state the patient cannot cope with.
