This study investigates the role of emotional intelligence in shaping marital satisfaction and relationship dynamics among ethnically mixed married couples in Kazakhstan. Through a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews with 25 participants from mixed marriages representing various ethnic combinations (Kazakh, Russian, Korean, Uzbek, Ukrainian, German, and Uighur), the research examined how components of emotional intelligence– self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills–influence cross-cultural relationship dynamics. Findings reveal that higher emotional intelligence correlates with more effective cross-cultural communication, navigation of cultural differences, conflict resolution, and relationship resilience. Participants with well-developed empathy and cultural perspective-taking demonstrated particularly positive relationship outcomes, while those with strong emotional regulation skills reported greater success managing family tensions related to cultural differences. These results suggest that emotional intelligence skills can be intentionally cultivated to enhance relationship quality in cross-cultural marriages, with implications for multicultural relationship education, couples therapy, and family development in Kazakhstan’s diverse society.
Clinical and Special Psychology
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is traditionally formulated in terms of executive function deficiencies and impaired attention regulation. However, recent research shows that emotional dysregulation is a central rather than peripheral feature of NGBS, especially during adolescence, when emotional demands increase. This theoretical paper is an integrated model that studies the two-way relationship between NGB symptoms and difficulties in emotional regulation in adolescents. Through a systematic review and theoretical synthesis of neurobiological, developmental, and clinical studies, we propose a rationale that positions emotional regulation as a transdiagnostic process that influences the underlying symptoms of NGD and which they affect. The proposed model reflects the common neurobiological substrates, developmental trajectories, and psychosocial effects that contribute to this intersection. In addition, we explore the implications of this theoretical integration for clinical assessment, intervention design, and future areas of research. This rationale contradicts the traditional symptom-based concept of ADHD and suggests that addressing emotional regulation may be crucial for comprehensive treatment approaches at a critical stage of adolescent development.
Applied Psychology and Research
This article will be devoted to the study of the impact of digital technologies on the mental health of teachers in the context of digital transformation in the higher education system. The active introduction of digital technologies into the educational process can create new difficulties and challenges for teachers and affect their psycho-emotional state. The article examines issues such as digital workload, digital stress, and professional burnout and analyzes their impact on teachers as a result of using modern technologies. Digitalization requires teachers to master new platforms and tools, which often leads to reduced stress, burnout, and professional motivation. In addition, the article suggests possible solutions such as improving digital literacy, supporting educational institutions, and introducing flexible work schedules to reduce negative psychological effects. The author emphasizes the importance of using an integrated approach to ensure the psychological well-being of teachers in the context of digital transformation.
Pedagogy and methods of education
This article examines the ongoing debate on language use in target language instruction, addressing its impact on language acquisition and teaching effectiveness. It explores three key areas: research findings on the benefits and limitations of using the target language as the primary medium of instruction, challenges teachers face in maintaining consistent target language use, and practical strategies for maximizing exposure while accommodating diverse classroom needs. While immersive language learning is widely supported, real-world teaching conditions often demand a more flexible approach. Student proficiency levels, cognitive load, and institutional policies influence decisions about when and how to incorporate the first language. This article synthesizes current research, pedagogical perspectives, and classroom practices to provide a balanced discussion on effective language use in instruction. By integrating theoretical insights with practical recommendations, the article equips educators with strategies to optimize target language use while fostering comprehension, engagement, and meaningful communication in the classroom.
Modern artificial intelligence (AI) technologies have a significant impact on educational processes, including the teaching of the Business Analysis course. The relevance of this study lies in the fact that the development of the digital economy and the increasing volume of data have led to a growing demand for business analysts. However, traditional teaching methods in this discipline do not always meet the modern market requirements. Artificial intelligence offers new opportunities for education, making the learning process more personalized, interactive, and effective. The purpose of the study is to examine the impact of AI technologies on business analysis teaching methods, identifying their advantages and possible limitations. The research objectives include: investigating the key aspects of using AI in business analysis education, including personalized learning, automated knowledge assessment, and the use of intelligent learning systems; аnalyzing the benefits and challenges associated with integrating AI into the educational process; рroviding recommendations for further implementation and application of AI in the Business Analysis course.
This article explores the pedagogical aspects of using the National Corpora of the Russian and Kazakh languages. It provides a comparative analysis of their structure, text database, annotation methods, and potential applications in education. The study highlights the importance of corpora in language learning, grammatical and lexical analysis, and the development of translation skills. The findings indicate that the Kazakh language corpus is still in development and requires further improvements for full integration into the educational process. Additionally, the need for methodological guidelines on effectively utilizing corpus linguistics in education is discussed.
Modern educational technologies are increasingly focused on a personalized approach that considers the individual characteristics of learners. Pedagogical diagnostics plays a crucial role in this process, enabling the identification of students’ knowledge levels, learning styles, and potential difficulties. This paper explores the development of an expert system to support adaptive learning based on pedagogical diagnostics. The key principles of building such a system are presented, including the analysis of diagnostic data, the formation of personalized learning trajectories, and the integration of artificial intelligence methods. Special attention is given to the automation of knowledge assessment and the intelligent support of educators in the learning process. An analysis of existing approaches has been conducted, and a conceptual model of the expert system has been developed, aimed at improving education quality through the personalization of the learning process.
