В начале 21 века идет процесс пересмотра системы глобальных приоритетов и ценностей в области психического здоровья человека. В мире произошли изменения в структуре и распространении психических и поведенческих расстройств. Психиатрия вышла за свои традиционные рамки и стала частью медицинской психологии, социологии и т.д. Необходимость нового направления исследований очевидна, чтобы его можно было перенести на соседние области. Характерные особенности врачей-стоматологов, особенности их стратегий борьбы с профессиональным стрессом как факторы риска возникновения синдрома эмоционального выгорания изучены недостаточно. Поэтому изучение клиники, динамики, прогноза и особенностей лечения тревожно-депрессивных расстройств врачами-стоматологами является актуальной проблемой современной психиатрии и стоматологии.

At the beginning of the 21st century, there is a process of revising the system of global priorities and values in the field of human mental health. The world has seen changes in the structure and prevalence of mental and behavioral disorders. Psychiatry has gone beyond its traditional boundaries and has become part of medical psychology, sociology, etc. The need for a new direction of research is obvious so that it can be transferred to neighboring areas. The characteristic features of dentists, the features of their strategies to deal with professional stress as risk factors for the occurrence of burnout syndrome have not been studied enough. Therefore, the study of the clinic, dynamics, prognosis and features of the treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders by dentists is an urgent problem of modern psychiatry and dentistry.
